2010 vs 2024: About Simina

We are moving on with the 2010 - 2024 parallels and we are happy to introduce Simina, who tells us that "in 2010 I was 20 years old, I was at university in Iași and I was juggling that with volunteering in AIESEC. I used to look with longing at people in creative and communication agencies and watch a lot of YouTube in between classes. I went out more often but never spent more than 10-15 lei, what a shocker. I was preparing intensively for the bachelor's degree and waiting for the summer to come."

What is Simina doing now?

"14 years later, I'm still waiting for summer to come because I don't think it's warm enough in Bucharest either. Every pitch seems to give me the same emotions I had when I was writing for my undergrad because I'm still looking for the relevance of everything I put down on paper. Going out is less frequent, but I'm okay with that because I have two cats who make my day more beautiful even when I don't leave the house at all. I am at peace with how things turned out and with the number of vitamins I take daily."
